SCHAUMBURG, IL – Today, Illinois released a new report that shows the U.S. Census Bureau missed 46,400 Illinois residents during the 2020 Census. The official Post-Census Group Quarters Review, set up in conjunction with the Census Bureau, the state of Illinois, and research organization NORC at the University of Chicago, found that 733 group quarters were undercounted or missed completely during the 2020 Census.
