WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi, Ranking Member of the Select Committee on the Strategic Competition Between the U.S. and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), joined with the majority of his House colleagues in voting to pass H.R. 5375, the Strengthening the Quad Act, legislation which will reinforce the Quadrilateral Security Dialogue (Quad) and establish an Interparliamentary Working Group among the four nations.

WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi, alongside Congressman Mike Quigley, Congresswoman Delia Ramirez, and Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky, sent a letter to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Administrator Michael Whitaker urging the FAA swiftly consider the O’Hare Noise Compatibility Commission’s (ONCC) proposal to update the current Fly Quiet Program guidelines.

Morgan McGarvey (D-KY), Rosa DeLauro (D-CT), and Annie Kuster (D-NH) in introducing the Supporting Premature Infant Nutrition Act, legislation that would require the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), Medicaid, and private insurance to provide coverage for “human milk derived milk fortifier,” nutrient products for premature infants.

WASHINGTON – This week, Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi joined with members of the bipartisan Great Lake Task Force in introducing the Great Lakes Restoration Act of 2024, legislation that would extend critical protections for the Great Lakes and the surrounding region through 2031, with annual funding levels increasing from $475 million in 2026 to $500 million from 2027 to 2031.

WASHINGTON – Today, the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability unanimously voted to adopt Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi’s amendment to H.R. 6283, the Delinking Revenue From Unfair Gouging (“DRUG”) Act, to increase transparency and accountability of Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs) by requiring the Director of the Office of Personnel Management to report information and services provided by PBMs and health benefits plans on a public website annually.
