WASHINGTON, DC – Today the House passed HR 4, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Reauthorization Act of 2018, which included Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi's bipartisan amendment requiring the FAA to study the economic impacts of aircraft noise on communities and businesses located near major airports. The Krishnamoorthi Amendment, which was passed unanimously by the House, expands FAA Noise Studies to include effects on businesses when they are subject to excessive noise throughout the work day.
