WASHINGTON, DC – Yesterday, Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi (IL-8), Congressman Jesús García (IL-4), and Congressman Danny Davis (IL-7) sent a letter to Director Robert Redfield at the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) requesting that the CDC extend its eviction moratorium. The Congressmen expressed their concern that if this moratorium were to expire at the end of December, over 19 million Americans would potentially face evictions.

This letter follows a December 3rd letter that Congressman Krishnamoorthi sent to White House Counsel regarding the pardon of former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn.

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-IL) introduced two bills to expand the capacity of the American intelligence community through the use of microelectronics and geospatial data. The bipartisan Seeding Enterprises in the Microelectronics Industry (SEMI) Act, which Congressman Krishnamoorthi introduced with Rep. Chris Stewart (R-UT), would provide $15 million to the Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity (IARPA) to be distributed in seed funds, for the development and advancement of microelectronics and computing technologies.
