BENSENVILLE, IL – Today, Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-IL) joined with Illinois Tollway Executive Director Cassaundra Rouse, Illinois Tollway Board Chairman Arnie Rivera, and local and state leaders in touring recent progress on the Elgin O’Hare Western Access (EOWA) project. The project, slated to be completed in 2027, will connect the Interstate-90 (Jane Addams Memorial Tollway) and Interstate-294 (Tri-State Tollway), significantly cutting travel time between the west side of Chicago O’Hare International Airport and U.S. Route 20 (Lake Street).

The ceremony, which took place at Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 5036 in St. Charles, was attended by veterans of several branches of the military and American Legion Post 342 Commander Joe Morgan.
