WASHINGTON – Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi issued the following statement in response to President Trump’s plans for the United States to “take over” and “own” the Gaza strip:

WASHINGTON – Today, Ranking Member Krishnamoorthi (D-IL) of the Oversight Subcommittee on Health Care and Financial Services joined with Oversight Committee Ranking Member Gerald Connolly (D-VA) and the other Democratic members of the Oversight Committee in sending a letter calling on government watchdogs to investigate potential national security threats associated with Elon Musk or his Department of Government Efficacy (DOGE) team’s takeover of government networks and sensitive data.
