SCHAUMBURG, IL – Today, Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi announced that $742 million in pandemic assistance, provided by the American Rescue Plan Act, is now available for small local governments across Illinois. This funding will be distributed to 1,250 small cities, towns and villages across the state to cover lost revenues, the costs of responding to the pandemic, and making needed infrastructure upgrades.
