SCHAUMBURG, IL – Today, Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-IL) hosted a special recognition ceremony honoring four local veterans for their distinguished service during the Vietnam War. Three veterans received official Vietnam Veterans Commemorative Pins, while one veteran was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for acts of heroism in combat. In the ceremony, Joseph Leuze, Jon Fisher, and Doug Elwell were awarded Vietnam Veterans Commemorative Pins as a symbol of the nation’s lasting gratitude for their service and sacrifice.
