WASHINGTON – U.S. Senators Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) and Mark Warner (D-Va.) and U.S. Representative Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-Ill.) sent a letter to Equifax, blasting the company for its failure to correctly report consumer credit scores and its delays in informing lenders and consumers of these problems – resulting in consumers being denied or charged higher interest rates for auto loans, mortgages, and credit cards.

WASINGTON D.C.– Today, Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi (IL-08) and Congressman Earl Blumenauer (OR-03) are urging the Biden Administration to scale-up its response to the global food crisis made more dire by Russia's invasion of Ukraine. In a letter signed by 36 members of the House of Representatives, they call for at least $200 million from the Additional Ukraine Supplemental Appropriations Act to boost the procurement and distribution of ready-to-use therapeutic food (RUTF) in countries whose populations are increasingly at risk of famine and severe malnutrition.

WASHINGTON – On Wednesday, the House Intelligence Committee approved the Fiscal Year 2023 Intelligence Authorization Act, which featured multiple provisions that were authored by Congressman Krishnamoorthi, including an assessment of global food insecurity resulting from Russia's invasion of Ukraine, an assessment of the priorities of the Intelligence Community with respect to STEM fields and the personnel necessary to address such priorities, and a provision directing an Intelligence Community assessment of Russia's gray zone assets.

WASHINGTON – Today, the U.S. House approved language to protect Documented Dreamers based on legislation co-authored by Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi. The language amends the Child Status Protection Act to protect dependent children of green card applicants and long-term dependent children of employment-based nonimmigrants from aging out of our legal immigration system.
