ADDISON, ILOn Sunday, Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi presented the Village of Addison with $600,000 in federal funding that he secured for local road and infrastructure improvements. The funding, which Congressman Krishnamoorthi secured through last December’s government spending package, will be used to repair College Boulevard’s road surface, replace its sidewalks, improve community access, and end the drainage issues the street’s flooding causes for the surrounding area and residents.

The funding, secured through last December’s government spending package, will be used to replace the ultraviolet disinfectant system that ensures all bacteria are eliminated before water is released into the West Branch of the DuPage River.
