WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, the U.S. House of Representatives passed an appropriations funding bill, which included an amendment introduced by Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-IL) and Chairwoman Carolyn Maloney (D-NY) to prohibit Executive Branch employees from using their public office or public appropriation funds to endorse or support any product, service, enterprise, or private company.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, the U.S. House of Representatives passed an appropriations funding bill, which included an amendment introduced by Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-IL) and Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky (D-IL), to prohibit the General Services Administration (GSA) from selling cars at auction that are under a recall notice. As the federal agency in charge of acquisition and disposal of government property the GSA leases vehicles to federal agencies and then, when they are no longer in use, auctions them off to private buyers.
