U.S. House Passes Amendment Congressman Krishnamoorthi Cosponsored To Honor The Korean And Korean American Veterans Who Served Alongside The U.S. Air Force In The Vietnam War

WASHINGTON – Today the U.S. House approved an amendment Congressman Krishnamoorthi Cosponsored to honor the Korean and Korean American veterans who fought alongside the United States Air Force in the Vietnam War.

"The Korean and Korean American veterans who fought alongside American servicemembers in Vietnam embodied the highest of American ideals in battling the expansion of communism with distinction and honor as they risked, and even sacrificed, all they had," said Congressman Krishnamoorthi. "I'm proud to have joined my colleagues from both parties in passing this legislation to express the debt of gratitude our nation owes these brave veterans."
