Statement from Congressman Krishnamoorthi on FDA Authorization of Menthol-Flavored E-Cigarettes

SCHAUMBURG, IL - Today, Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-IL) issued the following statement in response to the FDA's authorization of four menthol-flavored e-cigarettes. 

“This decision by the FDA is concerning and opens the door for the e-cigarette industry to go after America’s children with its products and marketing. I call on the FDA to immediately reconsider this decision’s risks to children’s health as we continue to see America’s youth hooked on flavored e-cigarettes, including mint and menthol vapes.”
