Raja Praises Mediation Plan Which Will Help The Elgin O'Hare Western Access Project Continue

SCHAUMBURG, IL – Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi released the following statement in response to news that the Canadian Pacific Railway and the Illinois Tollway have agreed to continue negotiations and enter mediation to pursue an agreement which would allow the Elgin O'Hare Western Access project to continue:
"I'm glad to hear that both the Tollway and Canadian Pacific have agreed to begin mediation and even more so that they may come to an agreement beforehand through their ongoing negotiations sooner. Once completed, the Elgin O'Hare Western Access Project will create jobs, strengthen our economy, ease traffic, and allow O'Hare to become the 21st-century airport we all need."
