Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi Responds To Census Bureau Data Showing Illinois' Population Is Growing

WASHINGTON – Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi issued the following statement in response to a new Census Bureau data release which showed Illinois’ population is growing:

“I am pleased to see that the latest data released by the U.S. Census Bureau reflects a growing Illinois population. Census officials continue to work with municipalities in my district and throughout Illinois to address modifications to past undercounts. I look forward to seeing progress made to rectify previous undercounts that adversely affected Illinois’ share of federal funding.”
