Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi Presents Village of Roselle with $500,000 in Federal Funding to Continue Construction on Village’s Municipal Campus, Including Petal Plaza

ROSELLE, IL – Today, Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-IL) presented the Village of Roselle with $500,000 in federal community project funding he secured for the village to make municipal campus improvements and continue work on its new outdoor event and gathering spaces, Petal Plaza, Porch, and Promenade. The village will use the three new projects, currently in various stages of construction, to host local events for years to come. The funding will also allow the village to make general improvements to its municipal buildings surrounding the newly renovated space.
“Nothing brings a community together better than an outdoor space for events and gatherings, and the completion of Petal Plaza, Porch, and Promenade will allow the people of Roselle to stop and smell the flowers,” Congressman Krishnamoorthi said. “I was proud to secure $500,000 in federal funding to help Roselle complete these event spaces and make other upgrades to the municipal campus along the way. I look forward to seeing the newly designed campus in full bloom soon.”
