SCHAUMBURG, IL – Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi held a forum on climate change in Schaumburg on Saturday, combining expert presentations with open discussion. The Congressman was joined by WGN Meteorologist Tom Skilling, Professor Don Wuebbles of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and climate researcher Doug Sisterson of Argonne National Laboratory. Each panelist presented compelling research on human-driven climate change before taking questions from the audience with the Congressman.

“Climate change is one of the most significant challenges we face and I was glad so many people from our community were able to come together to discuss the research demonstrating the seriousness of our circumstances, and how we can best address them,” said Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi. “There are no simple answers to the threat posed by climate change, but today’s forum was a reminder not only of what we’re up against, but also the need for constructive, open dialogue to develop solutions to it.”
