Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi Calls on Senate Leadership to Hold Off Graham-Cassidy Vote in Light of CBO Revelations
SCHAUMBURG, IL--- In response to the news that the Congressional Budget Office will not be able to provide a complete score of the Senate Graham-Cassidy health care bill in time for a Senate vote, Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi released the following statement:
"It would be beyond irresponsible for the Senate to take up a vote on yet another ACA repeal bill without complete information on how this legislation would impact premiums or coverage rates. With each new ACA repeal bill, Americans continue to worry about whether or not they may lose their health insurance or see their premiums skyrocket. I urge Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and Senate leadership to postpone any vote on Graham-Cassidy until the CBO is able to provide a complete assessment of how this bill would impact ordinary Americans' health coverage and premiums."
