Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi Asks President Trump If He’ll Commit To Vaccinating Himself And His Family With Any COVID-19 Vaccine Approved By The FDA Prior To Election Day
WASHINGTON, DC – In the wake of President Trump claiming earlier this week that he had the power to overrule the FDA and order it to approve a vaccine that didn't meet the standards of its own safeguards, Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi wrote to President Trump on Friday, asking him to commit to vaccinating his own family, before November 3rd, with any vaccine the FDA approves by November 3rd. The letter is available here and the text of the letter follows below.

Dear President Trump:
In light of public concerns around the safety and efficacy of a COVID-19 vaccine being rushed to market before Election Day, and to address questions I have received from my constituents, will you commit to:
Vaccinating yourself and each member of your family before November 3rd with any coronavirus vaccine approved by the FDA before November 3rd?
I look forward to your prompt response.
Sincerely,
