Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi Applauds Unanimous Passage Through Oversight Committee Of Post Office Renaming Bill In Honor Of Veterans
WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi announced the passage of his bill to rename the Schaumburg Post Office through the Committee on Oversight and Reform. This bill renames the Post Office located at 450 West Schaumburg Road as the "Veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan Memorial Post Office Building."
"I am pleased that my bill to rename the Schaumburg Post Office in honor of Veterans was passed out of the Oversight Committee today," Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi said. "Our Veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan sacrificed for this great country, and they deserve this recognition within our community. I hope to see this bill pass the full House soon."
