October 26, 2020
Donald J. Trump
President of the United States
The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW
Washington, DC 20500
Dear President Trump,
In light of the ongoing and escalating state of the COVID-19 pandemic, it took me by surprise to hear Dr. Anthony Fauci say on Meet the Press Daily on Friday that you hadn't attended any White House Coronavirus Task Force meetings in "several months."[1] In light of Dr. Fauci's claim, my constituents and I would like to request the following information:
When did you last attend a meeting of the White House Coronavirus Task Force?
Do you have any intention of attending another meeting of the Task Force?
The only way to defeat the coronavirus pandemic is to be listening directly to the experts to translate the best available information into the most effective policy.
I look forward to your prompt response.
Sincerely,
Raja Krishnamoorthi
Member of Congress
