Congressman Krishnamoorthi Denounces Hate-Motivated Murder Of 6-Year-Old Muslim Boy In Will County

SCHAUMBURG, IL — Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi issued the following statement today in response to the murder of a 6-year-old Will County boy who was targeted for his Muslim faith in an attack that also left his mother seriously wounded:

“I am disgusted and heartbroken by this brutal act of Islamophobic hate. This act of domestic terrorism is an attack on the American Muslim community and our fundamental humanity as a nation. I urge law enforcement authorities to prosecute this crime to the fullest extent of the law and all Americans to come together in rejecting hate in all its forms.”
