Congressman Krishnamoorthi Calls for Greater Support for Women's Health

WASHINGTON - Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-IL) released the following statement on the need to increase funding and support for women's health care:

“Increasing funding and breaking down barriers to women’s health care has never been more critical. The One Big Beautiful Bill Act would slash funding for Medicaid and the Affordable Care Act, stripping coverage from millions of Americans and over 500,000 Illinoisans, pushing rural hospitals to the edge of collapse and reducing women’s access to critical healthcare. I am committed to fighting every attempt to roll back essential care and to ensuring that women can access the services they need, no matter where they live.”
