Krishnamoorthi Responds to Reports That President Trump Is Considering Military Operations Against Cuba

WASHINGTON — Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi released the following statement in response to reports of potential Trump Administration plans for U.S. military operations against Cuba:

“President Trump has already dragged our country into an illegal, unauthorized war with Iran, and the last thing the American people need is a reckless escalation in Cuba that could plunge America into another open-ended conflict. Congress must not allow Donald Trump to unilaterally start another war. Instead, we must end the conflict with Iran before it costs more American lives and triggers an even more serious economic crisis.”
